Large pores on your skin can look unflattering and can also lead to other skin problems such as acne & blackheads.

Dirt, grime & other bacteria tends to easily clog the pores, while excess sebum leads to oily looking skin.

Exposure to the sun and the affects of aging also contribute to large, open pores by damaging the collagen which reduces the elasticity of your skin.

You can spend a small fortune by trying cosmetic products that aren’t guaranteed to work, and may even cause skin irritation. But, before you go to the store and try every beauty product you can find, may we suggest a natural remedy using just a few short ingredients you most likely have in your home.

1). Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar or ACV as it is commonly referred to is a natural astringent that can also be used as a toner when diluted with water.

Dip a cotton ball into a ACV / water mix and apply to your face to help shrink large pores by naturally tightening the skin. This also helps to reduce inflammation caused by acne.

3). Egg Whites

Loose skin can cause the appearance of pores and using egg whites is a simple, & natural way to tighten and firm your skin. Egg whites can also be used if you suffer from increasingly oily skin.

Whisk an egg white in a bowel and add a few drops geranium oil. Apply the mixture all over your face (avoiding the eyes, mouth & nostrils) then let sit for up to 25-30 minutes.

Once dried, peel off the egg and you can actually see all the dirt, & gunk that has been clogging up your skin. Wash off any remaining egg with cool water, then apply a small amount of coconut oil to moisturize your skin.
